Whalied Said, founder and director of Said Attorneys, brings over 20 years of diverse legal experience to the firm. With a B.Com LL.B, he offers expertise across business and commercial agreements, family law, wills and deceased estates, property law, and civil litigation. Practicing in the property sector for over two decades, Whalied is renowned for handling property transactions with the precision and care they demand, always safeguarding his clients’ interests. In addition to leading the firm, he holds directorships at several different companies, as well as trustee positions in various trusts, offering a well-rounded, business-savvy approach to all his legal matters.
Tanita is an admitted attorney with a strong focus on Family Law and Mediation. She completed her articles at the University of the Witwatersrand’s Law Clinic and brings experience in family law, property law, refugee law, labour law, and general litigation.
In addition to her legal practice, Tanita is a Social Justice accredited Family and Divorce Mediator, a role she is passionate about. She plans to expand her expertise by pursuing admission as a conveyancer and notary in the coming year.
Iman is a candidate attorney currently completing her articles at Said Attorneys. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Cape Town. Iman’s main areas of focus are the administration of deceased estates and property law.
Razika Latief is a Candidate Attorney at Said Attorneys. She holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a certificate in Conveyancing from the South African Law School. Razika’s primary focus is on civil litigation, where she manages cases such as evictions, divorce, and other legal matters. Her hands-on courtroom experience has sharpened her understanding of litigation processes, setting her apart in handling complex legal challenges.
Hamzah Hanware is currently a candidate attorney at Said Attorneys.
Mohamed has come through the ranks at the firm having completed his articles with Said Attorneys before being admitted as an attorney. Mohamed is experienced in both civil and criminal law.
